Team

Each team should comprise of 1-5 students from one of the approved institutions :

Infrastructure

All business ideas must be based on the assumption that the idea will have to be implemented from ground up. It should not assume any additional infrastructure to be available than what is already available to the public.

 

Industry

The business venture can be based on any production or service industry. It can be from the Diamond Studded Jewelry Industry to the BPO Services industry to the Film Industry.

The business idea can be based in any city in India.

 

Capital for Business Venture

The business idea can comprise of an initial investment of up to Rs. 20,00,000. Business Ideas that require additional funding may submit a Request for Approval to bpc@precigem.com. The document should contain a reason why the particular business idea would require a larger amount of investment in less than 300 words.

The venture may also raise additional working capital requirement from financial institutions taken against its own merits and securities.

  

Document Submission Format

bulletThe Executive Summary Document, Business Plan Document and the Presentation should follow the Guidelines associated with each of these submissions.
bulletTeams must submit a hardcopy by their due date to the Point of Contact associated with the institution that the team represents. The team must also submit an electronic copy in a Microsoft Word format to bpc@precigem.com. The format of the submission file name should be teamname-documenttype.doc.
bulletAn Application Form (Adobe Acrobat - PDF) containing the Disclaimer must be signed and submitted with the Executive Summary Document.

 

Terms and Conditions

All teams must read the Terms and Conditions of the Precigem Business Plan Competition before submitting any documents.
